for some reason the download isnt available, how do i fix
The game is only available on Steam now and uses Workshop to host user levels. It's $10 right now but it's going on sale very soon if you want to Wishlist and get it cheaper.
Here's the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2490900/Blocks_and_Bones/
looks cool!
this so epic me downlowd :D
Me thank you!
could we have the moon and sun textures as blocks to build with?
also if you combine the bars texture with the yellow cloth texture, it would look like a haybale
ideas: transparent metal mesh, verticle cage block, woven cage block, horizontal fence, vertical fence, lattice with plant growth, metal 2 but centered texture/ riveted metal, different colors of velvet,
more light block vairents
a sound for breaking and placing blocks, my suggestion is a bubble pop for breaking, and a clock tick for placing,
i made you textures for a pine leaves if you want to use it, 32x32 and a 128x128 format for you
i have a suggestion for the clipboard, block copy, paste and rotation, and maybe a description on what the clipboard does, it is kind of confusing ,
a upgrade to the drag fill system would improve building, such as diagonal wall / sloped floors, a outline for single block placement would be useful for building with floating offset blocks
a button that toggle air/block mask fill could be useful, or a crouch multiselect that allows you to select separate areas for filling
a ladder or climbing surface tool would be interesting, maybe for the zombies to use for climbing fences and stuff, select areas could have them
a navigation tool for advanced nav creation, for zombies to climb or make farther jumps along selected areas would be awesome, imagine taking the stairs to try to outrun zombies, only for them to leap across rubble to get to you,
certain blocks could use a connected texture variants, like glass and logs, log block could use a rotation property for fallen logs and stuff
the checkered block is kind of wonky to build with, it randomly flips direction, making checkerboards are impossible, maybe you could split the checkered texture between two versions, regular, and flipped, or you could make a texture flip tool for reversing texture direction
if you need or want any suggestions, i have plenty of ideas
ooh, wallpaper 2 could look like the backrooms wallpaper,
this game seems a lot like murder miners, nice.
if we could use the hammer as a backup weapon would be neat
crouching /crawling could be a neat mechanic allowing for better movement from the dead/player
I found a Couple errors, there is three instances of shared textures
, there is two yellow planks
, Red brick texture is shown on purple planks texture by mistake,
,the orange mud texture is used on the orange planks block
blocks are in a weird non grouped order
wallpaper block textures line up weirdly
, I have some suggestions for textures,
bookshelves should probably have some variety, seeing the same skull on every bookcase is kind of bland
we should be able to rotate textures so we can line them up properly, maybe a face texturing tool for having two sided walls, a prop rotator would be cool too,
I know that it is a lot of work, but I know you have a gold mine of a product here,
I hope this turns out better than murder miners did, sad what happened to that one,
multiplayer would be cool, perhaps pvp or a ctf mode,
a asset workshop would be cool, where people can upload mechanics, blocks, textures, and weapons for people to use in there maps, that would boost the longevity of the game,
i think a climbing tool would be neat, either as a weapon, or as a block property,
yeah block properties tool could be interesting, like changing breakability, or wake on collision,
I have high hopes for this game, no pressure on the creator, this game is great, I recommend people play this
Really interesting Mix of games here. I would like to see in the official maps, more zombie spawn points, areas, and weapons. But for what it is right now, great job. (Yes I know I played a player made map. I also tried the official map after the video)
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
it was cool and fun
, Good job!I can see some amazing things coming from this game! I hope you continue to develop it and introduce more blocks, enemies, weapons, and so much more! I loved the aspect of the builder and i would be lying if I didn't immediately start thinking of ways to build a survival complex with a timer.
Great job!
This game is actually fun, although there is a slow pace for it at the start! I wish i could keep those weapons when I buy them, would it be possible to carry more than 2 weapons?
Even tried to build on the moon, but failed. :P
good game i like it
It's a cool game. The competition can get kinda difficult at times, which kinda sucks (or maybe I'm just a noob). The level creator is pretty promising. I love the minecraft-like design mixed with a zombie shooter game.
Thanks! :)
Pretty cool. the demo maps are really small, but it feels promising.
Very interesting game.
I like this game's style.Nice job!
CAN YOU ADD ARMOR TO THE GAME? PLSSSSSSSSS
yep there's gonna be :)
looks crisp af
Lots of potential and fun, but... hoping for a shotgun in the future :D
thanks, and stay tuned because that's coming
You should add multiplayer and gun customization
just mp would be awesome
pistol bug is fixed in new update, all the weapons are usable now. and thanks for the video!
